All the latest news for the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side League is direct from Our Lady & St Chad Sport's Academy.

A brilliant night of 6-a-side football in the Wolverhampton Monday League.

Unfortunately due to a family emergency we did have one non-attendance as ‘First Owner FC’ were not present for their fixture. The league will be in contact with the team to confirm their return next week. Over the last few weeks we have had a number of non-attendances and no communication over this was happening, it is paramount all teams are at the league each and every week in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible, if you have any troubles please ensure you contact your Area Manager with plenty of notice to assist in any way they can.

Premier League game of the week was between 'FC Mil Funters' and 'Bigos Amigos' where there was a battle that went right down to the wire and resulted in a 4-2 victory to 'FC Mil Funters'. They showed their skill and ability which got them to this position during the game. With this result 'FC Mil Funters' are now one point off of the top two with three games to go can they get a top two spot? Good luck to ‘Filey’ who are one win away from the title with three games to go.

Division One game of the week was a cracking 2-goal thriller and ended in the points being shared between 'ECC United’ against 'Wolves Nations FC'. Both teams showed skilful attacking displays with a goal each in a very intriguing match. Both teams are looking to finish the season strong and build a strong foundation with the new season on the horizon.

Division Two game of the night was the last game of the night between ‘TT Elite’ and ‘Take Notez FC’. Two very evenly matched teams on the night that could not be split in a 2-2 draw and saw ‘TT Elite’ drop their first points of the new division. The top two in this division are four points clear of the rest with three to go and face each other the final game of the season, will we have a title decider on the final game of the season.

The team of the week is given to 'The Pheasant' as they pulled out a  sensational victory against 'Springhill FC' where the team showed brilliant footballing ability. We look forward to seeing if they can continue this for the rest of the season as they go into a game against league leaders 'Bostin Bliston' this week.
