Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football League Delivers Thrilling Matches in Week 5

Wolverhampton, 4/9/23 - The Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football League showcased some exhilarating action in its Week 5 matches. The league, consisting of two divisions, Premier League and Division 1, witnessed teams battling it out for supremacy on the pitch.

Unfortunately we did have one incident on the night that meant a player form Murder on Zidane's Floor has been carded for unsporting behaviour. Tristan Dixon of Murder on Zidane's Floor has been fined £10 and banned for one week in order to learn from the issue on the night. Please ensure you are following league rules and respecting everyone to do with the league each and every week in order to avoid this happening with your team, it will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly each time.

In more positive news, in the Premier League division, Bostin Bilston faced off against Naija Football Club, with Bostin Bilston emerging victorious with a commanding 4-1 score line. Meanwhile, Pendeford Unathletic FC struggled against a formidable opponent, Dangerous Darren, resulting in a 5-1 win for the latter.

In the Division 1 matches, FC Springhill and Straight Outta Compton engaged in a fierce battle, with Straight Outta Compton ultimately clinching a narrow victory with a 3-2 score line. AFC Young Boysz, unfortunately, fell short against the dominant Pendeford Athletic FC, resulting in a 3-0 defeat.

However, stealing the limelight this week were Straight Outta Compton, who were awarded with the team of the week for their performance on the night. Their exceptional skills and determination to the team's success cemented there place in the league table.
