As the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football league kicked off its new season, football fans were treated to a night of riveting action and impressive performances across the divisions.

Unfortunately, we did have a non-attendance on the night, Red Lion FC were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League division, Pathetic Athletic FC proved their might by dominating Bostin Bliston with a solid 5-2 victory.  Elsewhere, ZFC clinched a tight victory against Wolvo Boys with a scoreline of 2-1, while Points Then Pints FC outplayed AFC Young Boysz 4-2, demonstrating the high level of competition in the division.

Switching gears to Division 1, Statan Ibrahimovic showed potential by beating Older Boysz FC 4-1, while Gumtree Belfast demonstrated their skill by defeating Black Country Rovers 3-0. Finally Spekals FC overcome Grosvenor VI wining 3-1. 

As we look ahead, the stage is set for what promises to be an exhilarating season of Wolverhampton Monday Football. With such electrifying performances right from week 1, fans and teams alike can expect a thrilling run up to the season's finale.
