Play in the Wolverhampton Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football League launched its new season in spectacular fashion this week, with high-energy matches and standout performances across both the Premier League and Division 1.

We did have a non-attendance on the night, Cosford Kittens were not present for their game and we will be in contact with them this week in order to confirm their return for next Monday. It is paramount all teams are present for their fixtures in order for the league to run as smoothly as possible each week, if there are any problems please be sure to contact your area manager in plenty of time.

In the Premier League, KFC W1mbledon narrowly missed out in their opener, falling 1-2 to Net Six And Chill in a tightly contested affair. Potters House Church made a powerful statement with a commanding 3-0 victory over Wolves Of Paul Street, setting the standard for the rest of the division. Black Country Rovers were bested by AFC Young Boysz, who clinched a 3-1 win in another exciting matchup.

Division 1 also saw its fair share of drama and close encounters. Spekals FC and Fowlers Park battled to a 1-1 draw, while Potters House B and The Final Ride also shared the points in another 1-1 draw. The Lockers put up a fight against Non Athletico Madrid but ultimately fell 2-3 in a match full of attacking flair.

With the season just underway, all signs point to an exciting and competitive campaign ahead, as teams and players look to build on their early momentum in the Wolverhampton Monday 6-a-side Football League.
