In the second week of the Oxford Wednesday 5-a-side Football League, it was a night of thrilling encounters, surprising upsets, and high-scoring matches that kept spectators on edge throughout the event.

In the Premier League division, Netsix And Chill FC put on a masterclass against Bayer Nevelosen, scoring an impressive seven goals to their opponent's two. Their high-paced attack was relentless, leading to a phenomenal 7-2 victory that sets them up as the team to beat this season.

Firetoe FC and Substandard Liege provided an exciting back and forth game that ended with Substandard Liege taking a 6-4 win. Despite Firetoe FC's spirited effort, Substandard Liege's superior finishing proved to be the difference.

The narrowest game of the night was between Weeee Charvas FC and The Sewer Rats. Weeee Charvas FC managed to edge out The Sewer Rats with a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

In Division 1, Eat My Goal FC displayed a dominant performance with a 6-1 trouncing of Optimal Group, who struggled to find a foothold in the game. High on momentum, Eat My Goal FC will be looking to maintain this level of performance in the following weeks.

Finally, OEFC found themselves on the wrong side of a 7-2 scoreline against Plation Unit. Plation Unit's attacking prowess was simply too much for OEFC, who will need to regroup and strategize for their next game.

The top scorers of the night in the Premier League were undoubtedly the Netsix And Chill FC forwards who contributed heavily to their seven-goal haul. In Division 1, the top-scoring accolades go the forwards from Eat My Goal FC, who found the back of the net six times against Optimal Group.

The coming weeks promise to be filled with even more intense action, as teams aim to assert their dominance in the Oxford Wednesday 5-a-side Football League.
