Newbury Monday 6 a side end of season!

In a thrilling finale to the Newbury Monday 6 a side Football League, three teams emerged victorious after ten weeks of intense competition. The divisions in focus: Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 saw an exhilarating display of talent and teamwork that kept us on the edge of our seats.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the esteemed Premier League, Unathletico Madrid clinched the title with a total of 17 points. They bagged 8 wins in the season to take the title despite an intense 4-2 loss to Cuckarella last night. Despite a close tussle with other top-tier teams in the division, Unathletico Madrid proved to be the most consistent, turning the league into their playground to win the Premier League trophy. Cuckarella finished as runners up as they leapfrogged Team Fun who went down 4-2 to WTB, the other match saw new team The Six Offenders defeat Borussia Teeth 4-1.

DIVISION ONE

On to Division 1, where Game Set And Snatch emerged as the winners. With an impressive tally of 19 points and 9 wins, they demonstrated exceptional skill and perseverance. Their most recent victory, a 4-1 triumph over Goal Diggers, ensured they finished the season on a high. Class On Grass ended as runners up with a 3-1 win away to Bootcamp while CK Dons had a comfortable 5-1 home win over Dan's Victims.

DIVISION TWO

Finally, in Division 2, POTG FC reigned supreme, accumulating 17 points and 8 wins throughout the season. They sealed their victory in a title decider with a remarkable 4-1 win against Dads Army, leaving no room for doubt about their dominance and prowess, it's not all doom and gloom for Dads Army though as they sealed the second promotion spot. The other result in the division saw Largentina edge it 3-2 against Renford Rejects.

As it's often said, every end marks a new beginning. While the curtains have been drawn on this season, the spirit of football remains unquenched. These winning teams have set high standards for the next season, and we eagerly anticipate the onset of the new season.
