In the third week of the Newbury Monday Night Football League, high-energy football was on display with exciting games across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.
Premier League
In the Premier League, Dads Army made a statement with a decisive 3-1 victory over The Dirty Hose. Team Fun edged out Unathletico Madrid in a seven-goal thriller, winning 4-3, but the headline of the night was Hardly Athletic's demolition job on Queens Park Strangers. They raced to an 8-2 win, with their forwards in scintillating form.
Division 1
Division 1 also witnessed some thrilling games. The New Era dominated Eleanors Clients with a stunning 10-2 scoreline. Kiss My Pass exhibited a masterclass, beating Pathetico Madrid with a 7-1 victory.
Division 2
Division 2 saw the most noteworthy performance of the evening with Boychester United outclassing Barts Boys United in a lopsided 10-1 victory. The Bootcamp ran out comfortable 5-0 winners against KA1 3BU, while Dans Victims managed a narrow 1-0 win against CK Dons.
Although all players performed remarkably, the top scorers were the real game changers. In the Premier League, Hardly Athletic's striker shone with 4 goals. The New Era's forward in Division 1 had a field day with 5 goals to his name. Boychester United's main striker carried his team to victory in Division 2, scoring an impressive 6 goals.
