Newbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 4

In the thrilling night at our Newbury Monday 6-a-side Football League, we were treated to an exciting week four of football action across the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE

The Premier League saw an electrifying match between Net Six and Chill and Team Fun, which culminated in a decisive 12-4 victory for Team Fun. This high-scoring clash showcased Team Fun's offensive prowess, reaffirming their status as a formidable force in the league.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the contest between Dads Army and Borussia Teeth ended in a narrow victory for Dads Army, who clinched the match by a 7-5 margin. CK Dons and The Six Offenders engaged in a closely contested match, with The Six Offenders managing to edge out a 3-2 win. The New Era put on an impressive performance by securing a clean 5-0 victory against POTG FC, positioning them as serious contenders for the top spot.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 action kicked off with an intense match between The Bootcamp and Gory Moory FC, concluding in a 3-1 win for The Bootcamp. KA1 3BU faced Kiss My Pass, with the latter team triumphing by a 4-2 scoreline. Lastly, a tight encounter between Renford Rejects and Dans Victims saw the Rejects edge out a 2-1 victory.

While there is a long way to go in the season, the high tempo and impressive performances across all three divisions indicate a thrilling season ahead. However, the high point of the week surely has to be Team Fun's triumphant victory in the Premier League, Dads Army's narrow win in Division 1 and The Bootcamp's strong showing in Division 2.

As we look forward to the upcoming matches, we are eagerly awaiting to see how the season unfolds.

A big thank you to Sammy for running the evening and to all of our refs and players.
