Newbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 5

Week five of the Newbury Monday 6-a-side Football League brought yet another electrifying night to the pitch as teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Unathletico Madrid edged out Class On Grass in a thrilling 2-1 encounter while F-town and Team Fun couldn't be separated, sharing the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Goal Diggers exhibited a stellar performance by blanking Philippines FC 3-0, showing their dominance at both ends of the pitch.

DIVISION ONE

In the Division 1 showdown, Borussia Teeth and The Bootcamp played out a goalless stalemate, proving the strength of their respective defences. Largentina, however, proved too strong for Ghs Giants, overpowering them 4-1 in a match that left us on the edge of our seats.

As we approach the midpoint of the season, the competition is heating up and the next round of matches is eagerly anticipated. We can certainly expect more thrilling football in the Newbury Monday League in the weeks to come.
