In a thrilling week of football, the Newbury Monday 6-a-side league saw a widely varied but exciting range of results. Week 6 of the ongoing season has certainly been an exhilarating one, with teams from the Premier League and Division 1 divisions displaying their football prowess on the field.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, the Class On Grass were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Team Fun. The real humdinger of the division, however, was the high-scoring draw between Unathletico Madrid and Philippines FC which resulted in a 4-4 final scoreline. Unathletico Madrid owes their impressive performance to Eddie Mellett, who emerged as the top scorer of the Premier League division with a total of 2 goals.

Meanwhile, F-town managed to secure a 1-0 victory against the Goal Diggers to go top, with most of the credit going to Jacob Bunch. Bunch, a stalwart of the F-town team, was declared the most valued player of the week. His contributions to the team have been invaluable, making him a standout figure in this week's games.

DIVISION ONE

In the Division 1 division, Borussia Teeth and Cuckarella shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw, while The Bootcamp and Largentina battled it out in a goalless draw. Jack Gray from GHS Giants stood out as Division 1's top scorer with his tally of 3 goals as they took on a new team with Budget Boys away.

The league continues to offer up exciting clashes each week, and we can't wait to see what the next round of matches brings. It's clear that the competition is heating up, and we're looking forward to more of this captivating play in the coming weeks.
