In an electrifying display of football prowess, Newbury Monday brought game-week nine of the season to a close, marking pivotal moments in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Unathletico Madrid dominated over WTB GF with a decisive 6-3 victory, heightening the competitive tension of the league. We were on the edge of our seats as Unathletico Madrid took control of the pitch, demonstrating their exceptional skills and strategic prowess.

DIVISION ONE  

Shifting focus to Division 1, Class On Grass grappled with CK Dons in a gripping game, which culminated in a narrow 2-1 win for the Dons. Game Set and Snatch in another match, blanked out The Bootcamp with a remarkable 3- 0 win. Goal Diggers clinched a victory against Dans Victims, ending at 3-1. Jacob Loader of Goal Diggers emerged as the top scorer in Division 1, boasting a total of 2 goals, marking a stellar performance.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, Dads Army narrowly triumphed over Gory Moory FC with a 1-0 scoreline. In another high-stakes match, POTG FC clinched a victory against Renford Rejects with a score of 4-2. 

As the season progresses, the teams continue to push their limits and redefine the boundaries of the beautiful game. Engaging matches, superb goals, and stellar performances have come to define this season's Newbury Monday League making it a thrilling spectacle for all football enthusiasts.
