Newbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 9

In the exhilarating world of local football, the Newbury Monday 6-a-side league, now in its ninth week, offered another round of thrilling matches.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

Starting with the Premier League results, a standout performance was seen in the game between Newbury Freshmen and The Dirty Hose, where the latter dominated the field with an 8-1 victory. Unathletico Madrid remain locked on the same number of points as leaders Team Fun but behind on goal difference after a hard fought 3-1 win over Hardly Athletic.

DIVISION ONE

Meanwhile, in the Division 1 league, the match between The Six Offenders and CK Dons ended in a landslide victory for The Six Offenders. Their resounding 6-1 win was largely due to the power-packed performance from Drew Hamblett, who netted an impressive six goals. Other notable contests included the tightly fought game between POTG FC and The New Era, that concluded in a 2-2 draw while Dads Army had a 4-2 victory over Borussia Teeth.

DIVISION TWO

In the Division 2 league, Kiss My Pass emerged victorious against KA1 3BU with a commanding 4-1 win. In a closely fought match, Renford Rejects edged past Dans Victims with a 2-1 win. Gory Moory FC and The Bootcamp ended their match in a 2-2 tie, showcasing a tightly contested game.

This week's matches have set a high bar for the remainder of the season, promising more exciting clashes in the upcoming weeks. From astonishing individual performances to edge-of-the-seat games, the Newbury Monday 6-a-side league continues to showcase the spirit and skill of local football.
