Newbury Monday 6 a side news - match day 9

The 9th week of the Newbury Monday Football League concluded with thrilling matches in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2. With teams striving to prove their mettle, it was a night of exhilarating football and exceptional performances.

PREMIER LEAGUE  

In the Premier League, Goal Diggers demonstrated their dominance with a convincing 4-1 victory over Class On Grass although both teams look like they will be playing Div 1 football next season. On another note, Philippines FC clinched a narrow 2-1 win against leader F-town which allowed Team Fun to rise to the top as they defeated Unathletico Madrid in a 5-0 whitewash. A win at bottom side Goal Diggers next week will clinch the title now for Team Fun.

DIVISION ONE  

Division 1 witnessed Ghs Giants secure a comfortable 4-0 win against Borussia Teeth. Dads Army emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Largentina. However, the highlight of the division was an impressive 4-0 triumph by leaders Cuckarella over second place The Bootcamp, with all four goals coming from the splendid Dylan Crowley. Cuckarella will be a force in the top flight next season.

DIVISION TOW

In Division 2, Game Set And Snatch displayed their prowess with a sweeping 7-1 win over CK Dons. A nail-biting draw was observed between Uhh I Dunno and POTG FC, with a scoreline of 4-4, largely due to POTG FC's Ben Brown's commendable performance of scoring four goals.

In a standout achievement, Dylan Crowley of Cuckarella was named the Most Valued Player of the week. Crowley's four-goal display in Division 1 was a testament to his exceptional skills and sportsmanship. His remarkable performance not only helped his team to an emphatic win but also elevated his status to the top scorer of Division 1.

As the league progresses to the final games next week, we eagerly await the thrilling and heart-stopping action yet to unfold.
