In a thrilling week of football, the Premier division of the Newbury Wednesday 6-a-side league saw a flurry of goals, hard-fought matches, and superb sporting atmosphere. With each team demonstrating exceptional skill and tenacity, our spectators witnessed an absolute football extravaganza last night.

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Bowen 747 emerged victorious over VELO VIPERS FC in a nail-biting match with a final scoreline of 4-2. Six On The Beach had a tough competition from Xavi Dodgers, who managed to outscore them 4-2. Prawn Crackers made a clean sweep against Hugh Janus FC, winning the match 4-0, surely a performance that will boost their confidence in the upcoming games.

One of the tightest matches of the night was the game between Squirting Glisbon and Man Markers FC. Both teams showcased their defensive prowess, with neither side able to find the back of the net, resulting in a 0-0 draw.

Retail Warriors faced a challenging match against the formidable Two Goals One Cup. Despite their best efforts, the Retail Warriors were unable to hold off Two Goals One Cup, succumbing to an 8-3 defeat.
