Swan Lake early leaders at Portchester 6 a side Monday

A mixed night down at our Portchester Monday league. Some great football played but with a 3 teams not able to make it this week we saw a couple of points matches played. Nonetheless some excellent matches to watch.

In the Premier League it is champions Swan Lake that lead the table after week 2. They were given a very stern test by Total Messi and had their goalkeeper to thank on a number of occasions in the first half but they managed to find their rhythm as the match wore on to run out 4-0 winners. Big Show also made it 2 wins from 2 with a 4-1 victory over Paula United to move up to second in the table, again another tough match with Paula putting in a excellent display. Another one of the title favourites who didn't get off to the best of starts last week bounced back with a hard fought 1-0 win over last seasons runners up Line Up Lads.

In Div 1 there were points match wins for Smurfit Kappa who lead the table and for Lucky Dip. Up the Gull also have a 100% record after beating Chocolate Ba's and Corn Eto's 4-0. In the other match Haven't Got a Kalou managed to narrowly defeat What Happened? 1-0.
