Early days still at Portchester Monday 6 a side

Match reports are back for Portchester Monday 6 a side now I've returned from holiday. It's still very much early days in the season to read much into the league tables but so far 5 teams have won their opening two matches and 6 are yet to get off the mark.

Top of the Premier League on goals scored are Line Up Lads who enjoyed a 6-2 win over newly promoted Mirror Signal Malouda. Bailey Steele and Alan both scoring braces while Charlie added a goal. Swan Lake had a points match win due to Locks Heath Lads unfortunately having to self isolate, most of their players will be out of isolation by next week though so we should see them back. UTF have also begun with two wins as they beat Swan Lake Reserves 2-0. The other result saw a bright pink Kipsta Rovers narrowly defeat Murder On Zidanes Floor 2-1 with goals from Tyler and Dean.

Borussia Donmund stay top of the Div 1 table as they had a comfortable 5-0 victory against Portchy Pirates. Harvey 2, Louis 2 and Blue on target for the visitors. Put Matip In are second after a 7-1 win over What Happened? Jay Hall with 5 strikes. Rafa Cakes picked up their first win of the season as they kept it tight at the back before getting a couple of goals to seal a 2-0 win over Fullerbeer. Finally Pathetic Athletic and Who Asked FC shared the points after a 3-3 draw. Pathetic goalscorers were Jed 2 and Charlie while captain Kurtis Stallard 2 and Brad Fuller scored for Who Asked.

It was a little bit chilly and damp last night but at least we've had a Monday that isn't a complete wash out. Thank you to all our teams and to our refs Shane, Con and Zach. See you all next week for match day 3.
