The 7th week of the ongoing Portchester Monday 6 a side Football league served up a thrilling spectacle of football for fans, with teams giving it their all on the pitch, and the top scorer's chart of Division 1 undergoing a dramatic shakeup.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, the match of the night was undoubtedly the hard-fought battle between Paxton Sixes and ST V2. Boasting a fast-paced game with a flurry of goals, ST V2 eventually overcame Paxton Sixes with a convincing win, with the final scoreline reading 6-2 in ST V2's favour. The victory was an outstanding show of offensive play and teamwork, sending a strong message to the rest of the teams in the league.

Another closely contested match saw Renal Madrid narrowly edge past Hawkins Heros with a final score of 2-1 to climb off the bottom. This match was a testament to both teams' defensive abilities, showcasing a tense, nail-biting encounter that kept us on the edge of our seats till the final whistle.

The week's standout performer in Division 1 was Delph and Safety’s star player, Oscar Crouchman. Displaying remarkable skill and precision, Crouchman netted a total of 2 goals, earning him the top spot on the division's scorer's chart in their 5-0 win over Italia 90 Six. His stellar performance contributed significantly to his team's success and has set the bar high for the league's remaining fixtures.

As we move into week 8 of Portchester Monday, anticipation is palpable amongst everyone. With the top scorer's chart constantly changing and teams vying for supremacy, we are certain to witness more thrilling football in the coming weeks.
