PORTCHESTER 6 A SIDE - THURSDAY ROUND UP

We had another great night down at Portchester last night for week six of our season of 6 a side football

All our teams were there as usual, and some great games were played. Check out the results of this week’s games below.

PREMIER LEAGUE

Sunflowers 3 - 6 Sergio Gameos Lee

Bailey Steele and Sam Moore scored two each for Sergio who power on and remain 2 points clear after 6 wins from 6.

Chicken Tikkatakka 17 - 3

5 goals for Ben Metherell and 4 each for Russell Pratt & Ryan Morgan in a dominant performance from Chicken Tikkataka. Huge Eriksen will come again and will be fully up for next weeks battle with Six Offenders.

AFC Purbrook 4 - 3 The Six Offenders

Tight win for Purbrook and a classic game. Sage Rowland and Jamie Newnham doing the damage for the 2nd placed team with a couple of goals each. Brad Fuller amongst the scorers for Offenders who still seek their 1st win of the season

DIVISION ONE

Law Abiding Sigurdsons 4 - 6 Lads On Toure

Jacob Payne netted all four of Siggy's goals and will feel aggrieved to be on the losing side this week. Lads on Toure were sharp in front of goal though and Jack Girling's 4 strikes went along way towards securing the points for his team. The two teams are now locked together on 8 points and with only 2 points separating the top 5 it looks like a brilliant season brewing in Division One

Abella Rangers 4 - 0 Sun Ting Wong

A rare 6 a side clean sheet and a tidy performance from Abella Rangers secured them the points in their game with Sum Ting Wong. Daniel Shaw on target with a couple to keep them within a point of the leaders.

Cob FC 8 - 2 James Pain FC

Josh Nicklin scored a well taken hat-trick for Cob who claimed their 2nd win of the season in a relatively comfortable night against James Pain. Joe Nicklin chipped in with 2 in the 8 - 2 win that keeps them in touch with the top sides after 6 weeks of games.

DIVISION TWO

Pup657 3 - 7 Cross Keys FC

Dan Rogers and Charlie Moore both claimed hat-tricks for Cross Keys as they climbed out of the bottom two with an important win over PUP657. Jacob Payne was on target for PUP with a couple but they remain fixed to the base of the league table.

MARADONNA KEBAB 1 - 1 PANTS

Cracking game that was settled with a goal each for Alfie Gaylor and Neil Wood. For Pants the single point see's them slide into the red while The Kebabs remain 3rd but lose some ground on the promotion places, not a great result for either in a short season but a brilliant game for the neutrals.

BSC HUNG BOYS 0 - 2 WRECKSOME U12's

The battle of the top two went the way of Wrecksome who now take over the running in Division Two. Jake Clark and Joshua Downe both got on the score sheet and without conceding to their title rivals they come away with a massive 2 points to draw level and gain a lot of momentum going into the back end of the season.

So a great week of games and as always it's a big thankyou to our Supervisor Mike and his brilliant team of refs this week, if you are interested in joining this league just get in touch with Rob on 07538562547 or just register via the link below.
