In the fierce competition of the Portchester Thursday Football League, week 13 proved to be a turning point for some teams whilst others consolidated their dominant positions. The enthralling matchups under the floodlights delivered performances that were nothing short of spectacular.

In Division 1, Lads On Toure continued their excellent form, overpowering AFC Purbrook with a resounding 6-2 victory, sending a clear signal to their rivals. Meanwhile, Pup657 and Happy Sunflowers battled out a tense 2-2 draw, with both teams displaying skilful play, though neither could secure the upper hand.

The most nail-biting match of the night, however, belonged to Project Zeus and The Six Offenders. In a relentless back-and-forth, Project Zeus clinched a thrilling 7-6 victory. Key to this triumph was Jack Gurling, who netted an impressive four goals making him the top scorer in Division 1 for the week. His performance certainly marked him as one to watch in the upcoming games.

In Division 2, Borussia Donmund impressed with a solid 5-3 victory over Cob FC, with Keiran Devine delivering a standout performance by scoring three goals, thereby earning him the top scorer accolade for the division. Bumfica too showed their mettle by shutting out Sunburn United with a clean 3-0 victory. Yardee FC also had an impressive week, notching a 4-1 win against Havent Jota Clue.

The league is heating up, with all teams showing a hunger for success. As we look forward to week 14, all eyes will be on the top scorers Gurling and Devine to see if they can maintain their scoring form.
