Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 1

In the inaugural week of the Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League, the competing teams set the tone for an action-packed season. The divisions that reeled in the most attention were the Premier League and Division 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the prestigious Premier League, Sergio Gameos Lee made their presence known with a stunning 9-0 victory over Bumfica. The star performer of the night was Bailey Steele, who netted an impressive total of 4 goals for Sergio Gameos Lee, launching himself to the top of the division's scoring charts. Marlon Packet and Inter Yernan FC also made strong starts to their campaigns with 5-3 and 5-2 victories over Cob FC and Fourintina, respectively.

DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, Borussia Donmund reigned supreme with a commanding 5-2 victory over Slops FC. The Bugle Boys proved their mettle with a decisive 6-3 victory over Pants, while the Havant Heavies pulled off a slim 2-1 win against Nigels NoNonsense Breakaways.
