In an electrifying week of 6 a side football, the Portchester Thursday league witnessed a flurry of goals and intense match-ups in its Premier League and Division 1 fixtures. The 13th week of the season was a spectacle that left fans and players on the edge of their seats.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, AFC Purbrook put on a stunning display to outclass Bumfica 5-1. In another nail-biting encounter, Borussia Donmund managed to edge past Cathy's Crew with a 4-3 victory. But the highlight of the night was when The Six Offenders overcame Marlon Packet 6-2, demonstrating their offensive prowess. The game between Sergio Gameos Lee and Havant Heavies, however, was nothing short of a goal fest. Gameos Lee put nine goals past the Heavies, with a 9-1 victory, largely thanks to the top scorer of the division, Bailey Steele, who netted a remarkable total of four goals.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile in Division 1, Inter Yernan FC dominated Brexit Ballers 2 with a 6-2 triumph. Cob FC also had a successful run, defeating Micks R Us 3-1. However, the most thrilling match of the division came when Pants clashed with Pathetico Madrid, resulting in a 6-6 draw, a testament to both teams' attacking capabilities. Receding And Conceding also managed to secure a clean sheet with a 2-0 scoreline against Slops FC. Ewan Mclean of Pants emerged as the top scorer of the division, contributing an impressive six goals.
The football league's 13th week proved to be a thrilling rollercoaster ride, boasting both high scoring matches and edge-of-the-seat fixtures. The top scorers of both divisions, Bailey Steele from the Premier League and Ewan Mclean from Division 1, proved their mettle as key players for their respective teams, setting the pace for the thrilling weeks of football to come.
