Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 18

As the final whistle of the Portchester Thursday Football League echoed through the chilly air last night, it marked the thrilling end of the 18-week season. In a gripping finale, the competition witnessed some fantastic football, laudable goals, and commendable sportsmanship.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Sergio Gameos Lee demonstrated their supremacy by ruling the scoreboard. With a total of 35 points and a splendid victory streak of 17 wins, they were crowned as the champions of the season. Their consistency and teamwork have been phenomenal throughout, making them the deserving winners.


Coming up with an extraordinary performance was Lewis Philpott, scoring a total of 2 goals for Pup657. His impressive performance did not only enhance his team's ranking but he also secured his place as the top scorer in the Premier League Division.


DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, there was no shortage of drama and excitement. Havant Heavies emerged as the victors, accumulating a whopping 33 points with 16 wins under their belt. Their fierce competition and sheer determination were evident in their thrilling matches.


The top scorer of this division was Mark Cotton from Havant Heavies, who netted an impressive total of 3 goals. His incredible performance played a crucial role in his team's triumphant journey this season.
