The Portchester Thursday 6 a side football league wrapped up its final week of the season yesterday with teams showcasing extraordinary performances that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, a high-impact match occurred between Cathys Crew and The Six Offenders, ending with a scoreline of 4-6 favouring the Six Offenders. Another thrilling encounter between Fourintina and Havant Heavies resulted in a 2-2 draw. But the game that stole the show was between Marlon Packet and Sergio Gameos Lee, with the latter team dominating the field with a 7-2 triumph. Bailey Steele from Sergio Gameos Lee stood out by bagging two goals, making him the top scorer of the division.
Impressively, Sergio Gameos Lee topped the Premier League division with a total of 36 points and 18 wins, asserting their supremacy and marking a triumphant end to their season.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Cob FC secured a narrow victory against Brexit Ballers 2 with a 2-1 scoreline. Inter Yernan FC outplayed BSC Hung Boys 5-1, while another exciting match saw Slops FC overcoming Bugle Boys with a score of 6-4. However, the Pants succumbed to Receding And Conceding with a 1-3 defeat. Cameron Aldridge from Slops FC emerged as top scorer in this division with a commendable total of four goals.
Cob FC emerged victorious in Division 1, accruing a total of 27 points and 13 wins. Their stellar performance throughout the season has certainly set high standards for the teams next season.
