In the fiery world of amateur football, the Portchester Thursday League has ramped up the heat with a series of thrilling matches in its third week of action.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Starting with the Premier League, the spotlight shone on Sergio Gameos Lee, who put up an awe-inspiring performance with a 14-4 victory over The Six Offenders. This win was made possible, in large part, due to a stunning display by Bailey Steele. He netted an impressive total of 6 goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League division this week.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the fixture between Cob FC and Borussia Donmund ended in a nail-biting 4-3 win for Borussia. However, despite the loss, Cob FC's Will Andrews earned the title of top scorer in this division with his hat-trick. Elsewhere in Division 1, Cathy’s Crew dominated Marlon Packet with a 5-0 clean sweep, ensuring an exciting race for the division’s top spot continues.
DIVISION TWO
In Division 2, the competition was just as fierce. Pants and BSC Hung Boys delivered a thrilling match, with BSC Hung Boys edging out a victory with a 3-2 scoreline. However, the match of the night was between Maradonakebab and Receding and Conceding, where a 5-1 triumph for Receding and Conceding left spectators on the edge of their seats. Khedira Pin Drop also secured a 3-1 victory over Gyattlatasary, with Ryan Price scoring twice to become the top scorer in Division 2.
As we move into the fourth week of the season, all eyes are on these key players as the Portchester Thursday League continues to deliver thrilling football action.
