Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 3

In an exciting night of soccer action, the third week of the Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League saw a flurry of goals and some exhilarating matches. The Premier League and Division 1 games took place, and the night was filled with energy and passion showcasing the thrilling nature of the sport.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the most distinguished match was between Sergio Gameos Lee and The Six Offenders, where Sergio Gameos Lee dominated the game, running away with a 14-0 victory. Bailey Steele was the standout player of the match, scoring a total of 5 goals for Sergio Gameos Lee and was subsequently named the top scorer in the division.


In another closely contested match, Marlon Packet emerged victorious against AFC Pynept with a narrow margin of 4-3. The matches between Fourintina and Borussia Donmund, as well as Cathys Crew and Bumfica, both ended in a 2-2 draw, keeping the competition tight and open in the Premier League standings.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the match between Slops FC and Brexit Ballers 2 ended with a 4-3 win for Brexit Ballers 2. The highest scoring game of the night was between Receding And Conceding and Toast FC, with Toast FC claiming victory by scoring 7 goals to Receding And Conceding's 3.


However, the most enthralling match was between Pants and BSC Hung Boys, which ended in a thrilling 7-7 draw. Kian Murphy, a player for Pants, was in sublime form and managed to net 4 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1 for the week.


These results have set up an exciting stage for the next week’s fixtures. Now, every match carries a certain weightage and will have a significant impact on the league standings. The competition is heating up, and fans can expect more such exhilarating matches in the coming weeks.
