Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 4

In a thrilling display of athleticism and teamwork, the Portchester Thursday Football League entered its fourth week, showcasing the grit and determination of the teams involved. The league is split into two main divisions: the Premier League and Division 1.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, AFC Purbrook emerged as a dominant force, racking up an impressive 7-1 victory over Bumfica. The hero of the hour was undoubtedly Pepe Rowland, who netted five goals for AFC Purbrook, securing his position as the top scorer in the division. In other matches, Fourintina edged out AFC Pynept 4-3 in a closely contested battle, while The Six Offenders outscored Marlon Packet 8-6 in a game that was nothing short of a goal fest.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Cob FC proved their mettle with a crushing 6-0 win over Khedira Pin Drop, with Joe Nicklin scoring four goals to become the division's top scorer. Inter Yernan FC also displayed outstanding performance, defeating Brexit Ballers 2 by 7-3. Meanwhile, Maradonakebab bested BSC Hung Boys 4-1, and Toast FC overcame Pants with a 7-4 victory.


The competition was equally tough in the match between Slops FC and Receding And Conceding, with Slops FC scraping a 2-1 win.


The league has thus far provided spectators with a myriad of enthralling performances, showcasing both individual brilliance and cohesive teamwork. As we move into the fifth week, we can only expect the competition to intensify, promising more exciting football action.
