Over the weekend, enthusiasts and supporters of the local 6 A-side football league were treated to exciting clashes and thrilling results in the Portchester Thursday league. Week 5 of the season was nothing short of action-packed, as teams in both the Premier League and Division 1 divisions battled it out on the pitch.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, the spotlight was on Marlon Packet and Sergio Gameos Lee, with Marlon Packet edging a 3-2 victory. Fourintina and Brexit Ballers 2, on the other hand, ended their match in a thrilling 7-7 draw. However, the most striking result was undoubtedly Havant Heavies overpowering Cob Fc with an imposing 11-0 scoreline.


Standout player and top scorer of the Premier League division, Geraint Melville, showcased a remarkable performance, scoring four goals for Havant Heavies. His contribution played an undeniable role in Havant Heavies' convincing win over their adversaries.


DIVISION ONE
Switching focus to Division 1, Slops FC managed to defeat Swan Ballers FC with a narrow 3-2 victory. Real Madri trounced Munter Hunters with a whopping 10-2 scoreline, while Pants clinched a 3-2 win against Aldo Athletic. Bumfica managed to secure a 5-1 victory over Cathys Crew, whereas Bugle Boys outclassed BSC Hung Boys with a 5-1 scoreline.


Jake Mills, the top scorer in Division 1, was on fire as he netted three goals for Real Madri. His offensive prowess was instrumental in his team's decisive victory.


This week's results have set the stage for fierce competition as the teams look forward to the next round of matches.
