In a thrilling week of football, the Portchester Thursday 6-a side Football league saw some intriguing contests unfold. With both the Premier League and Division 1 entering the fifth week of the season, the battles for supremacy are heating up.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, teams went head-to-head in a series of fiercely fought games. NWO triumphed over Pup657 with a convincing 6-3 victory, showcasing their attacking prowess. Meanwhile, in a closely contested match, Sergio Gameos Lee managed to edge out Marlon Packet 3-5.


Another Premier League fixture saw Fourintina and Bumfica share the spoils with a 4-4 draw, demonstrating the intense competitiveness of the league. However, the highlight of the week was Cob Fc's emphatic 5-0 win over Cathy's Crew. Cob Fc's star player, Patrick Fargher, had an exceptional game, notching up a total of 5 goals and topping the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League.


DIVISION ONE
Over in Division 1, Slops FC secured a comfortable 5-1 win against Swan Ballers FC. Havant Heavies put up an impressive performance, scoring six goals against Brexit Ballers 2, who could only respond with two. BSC Hung Boys emerged as the dominant force, outscoring Bugle Boys 6-1. Tom Andrew from BSC Hung Boys was the standout performer in Division 1, scoring four goals.


As the season progresses, the competition across both divisions continues to intensify. Teams will need to bring their A-game to the pitch in the coming weeks. With top scorers Patrick Fargher and Tom Andrew leading their respective divisions, the race for the Golden Boot is also heating up.
