In the thrilling week 6 of the Portchester Thursday 6-a-side Football League, fans were treated to a goal fest with some unexpected results in both the Premier League and Division 1.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, AFC Purbrook produced an explosive performance, defeating Borussia Donmund with a commanding score of 9-2. Not far behind, AFC Pynept managed to secure a hard-fought victory against Bumfica with a scoreline of 5-3. The Six Offenders fell short against Cathy's Crew, as the latter clinched a 4-2 win. The most staggering game of the evening was Havant Heavies facing off against Fourintina. Fourintina emerged victorious, with a whopping 10-4 scoreline. Sergio Gameos Lee also showed prowess with a 7-4 triumph over Marlon Packet.
In the Premier League, Bailey Steele of Sergio Gameos Lee emerged as the top scorer of the week, netting four goals and contributing significantly to his team's victory.
DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, Brexit Ballers 2 could not hold their ground against Cob Fc, succumbing to a 6-2 defeat. BSC Hung Boys narrowly edged past Inter Yernan FC with a 2-1 win. Slops FC eked out a victory over Maradonakebab, winning by a single goal, with a final score of 4-3. Receding And Conceding and Pants delivered the most nail-biting match of the night, with the former emerging victorious with a 6-5 score.
Ethan Burnett from Cob FC claimed the top scorer title for Division 1, scoring an impressive six goals and playing a crucial role in his team's win.
