Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 9

In the ninth week of the Portchester Thursday 6-a-side football league, a thrilling spectacle of football was on display, with the teams from Premier League and Division 1 demonstrating their skill, grit and determination to fight for top spots.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, the game of the evening was undoubtedly the encounter between Fourintina and NWO, which ended in a riveting 4-4 draw. Scotty Ferguson for NWO emerged as the star of the game, showing his killer instinct by scoring a total of four goals. This remarkable feat puts Scotty at the top of the Premier League scorers chart for the week.

Marlon Packet also managed to scrape a narrow win against Cathys Crew with a 3-2 final score, while Sergio Gameos Lee dominated their game against The Six Offenders, sealing their victory with a whopping 7-2 scoreline. The high intensity and passionate play have truly set the pace for the remainder of the season in the Premier League division.

DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the Bugle Boys showed their prowess with a resounding 5-0 victory against Swan Ballers FC. The BSC Hung Boys also had a clean sheet with a 5-0 triumph over Pants. However, the real highlight of this division was the Brexit Ballers 2's commanding 10-2 win over Munter Hunters. Daniel Batchelor of Havant Heavies topped the scorers chart in this division, netting a total of 5 goals.

As we head into the tenth week of the league, each team will be looking to build on their performances, and fans can look forward to more exciting and competitive football. This season of Portchester Thursday is proving to be one of the most exhilarating yet.
