SERGIO CHAMPIONS AGAIN IN PORTCHESTER

Congratulations to Sergio on wrapping up another title win in our Thursday Night 6 a side league in Portchester last night. It was a wild night of weather for our teams to battle through so well done to everyone that was there to play through the last games of the season. Sergio remained unbeaten throughout the season and confirmed the title win with a win against Who8AllThePie who's game was played by one of the teams on our waiting list so thanks to them for stepping in and getting their 1st taste of our league. AFC Purbrook had a solid 2 - 0 win against Happy Sunflowers who will drop to Division One for the new campaign. They will be joined in the 2nd tier by Cob FC who had a difficult season and will be relishing some time in Division One. Their final game ended in an 8 - 0 defeat to Full Kit Wonkers with Matthew Page netting 5 of the Full Kit goals to secure their 2nd place finish in what was a good season for them.

The Division One title goes to Sigurdsson's U14's who end the season with 17 points and wrapped things up nicely with a 3 - 1 win over AFC Goodworks. 2nd place goes to Lads on Toure who will join Siggy's in the top flight after their final game 5 - 0 win over BSC Hung Boys while Chicken Tikkataka ended the season strongly with an 8 - 0 win against Pants.

The Golden Boot has a familiar couple of names on it with Bailey and Charlie Steele both featuring again, this season they share the award with Matthew Page who drew level on 19 goals with his final night flurry of goals. In Division One Del Smith ends out in front on 16 goals for Siggy's and it will be interesting to see if he can replicate that form in the prem next season.

Thank you to all our teams for their efforts this season, especially to the captains and of course to our brilliant officials. We restart the new season nest Thursday and the fixtures will be out very soon so please be ready to get going again next week!

Well done to our trophy winners and good luck to everyone for the new season.
