Sergio Gameos Lee Champions of Portchester Thursday 6 a side

In a riveting end to the season, Portchester Thursday 6-a-side football league concluded last night with teams delivering edge-of-the-seat performances in the 18th week of the competition.

In Division 1, BSC Hung Boys trounced Maradonakebab with a whopping 10-0 score, demonstrating their football prowess in full glory. The Six Offenders faced a nail-biting defeat by Project Zeus with a close score of 3-4. The true star of Division 1 was Rob Bass from BSC Hung Boys, who topped the score chart, netting a total of 2 goals. The sheer tenacity and consistent performance throughout the season led Sergio Gameos Lee to secure the top spot in Division 1 with a total of 34 points, thanks to their 17 wins. Well done to Sergio on another fantastic campaign. 

In Division 2, Borussia Donmund and Cob Fc ended up in a standstill with a 2-2 draw. Keiran Devine shone the brightest in this division, scoring 2 goals for Borussia Donmund. The coveted prize for Division 2 was clinched by team Havent Jota Clue, marking the end of the season with a well-deserved victory. The team amassed 32 points with 16 wins, thereby stamping their dominance in the division. It will be great to see how they get on in the top flight next season. 

As the final week of the season wraps up, the teams’ performances have set a high benchmark for the upcoming season. The sheer energy & competitive spirit displayed by all teams throughout the league were truly commendable. Congratulations to champions of both divisions, Sergio Gameos Lee and Havent Jota Clue. Bailey Steele takes the golden boot for the prem with 39 goals for Sergio while AJ Peach takes the Division One prize for his 24 Havent Jota Clue goals. Their hard work and exceptional skills have truly paid off.
