All 3 divisions almost settled at East Cowes 6 a side!
Match reports are back this week now I've returned from holiday. Week 12 at our East Cowes Sunday 6 a side looks to of almost settled the titles races in all 3 divisions with the leaders having at least 4 point advantages going into the last two weeks of the season.
In the Premier League we had a couple of teams away with Mataz and Wkd N Bad unable to attend, Mataz will be back next week while Wkd N Bad have had to vacate the league, thanks for your time in the league and hopefully see you back in the future. This meant both leaders Dangerous Dogs and Bacon Sane had points match wins. Dogs have a 4 point lead now in the league so only require a point to seal the title next week when they meet bottom side Bacuna Matata. In other results Eskimo FC comfortably saw off Matata this week 8-0 to move up into 4th place while No Shot FC lifted themselves out of the relegation zone with a 10-4 victory against FC Union Street. Connor Furmidge with 8 goals while Scott McFarlane hit a brace.
Ryde Raconteurs went 4 points clear at the top of Div 1 with an important 7-4 win over AC Me Rollin. Vectis Rovers couldn't keep pace with them as they drop out of the top two on goal difference after going down 5-1 to Applepie Turnovers. Turnovers now occupy the second promotion spot. Old McInnes returned this week to win with ease 9-1 against Sancho's And Cheese while OFOB Strollers beat the drop with a 8-1 victory over Gylifi Pleasures.
Div 2 Champions Hardly Athletic continue to dominate proceedings with a 10-1 win over Touch Matip. James Gallop scoring 5 whiles Lee Hardwick 2, George Johnson 2 and Eddie Johnson also registered. We Lose Every Week remain in the second promotion place as they picked up a points match win. Muga are just a point behind them as they won 3-0 against Khedira Pin Drop. Finally HeskeyTime96 remain in the promotion race as they defeated Badder Roma 4-1 with strikes from Shaun Denham, Aaron Smith, Ben Ash and Ryan Groundsell.
