In an exhilarating week of action for East Cowes' popular 6 a side Sunday Football League, we witnessed the 13th week of the season unfold with some astonishing performances and incredible scorelines in the premier Division 1 as we returned after the Christmas break.
PREMIER LEAGUE
Inter Yer Nan and Badder Roma kicked off proceedings with a fiercely contested battle, culminating in a resounding 6-1 victory for Inter Yer Nan. The Roma side was left helpless in the face of the offensive onslaught, unable to secure a win.
Le Saux Solid Crew took a devastating hit against Twogirlsonefacup, who emerged victorious with a big 12-1 victory. This was a testament to the prowess and skill of the Twogirlsonefacup squad, who demonstrated their dominance on the field.
One of the most evenly contested matches of the night was between We Lose Every Week and Khedira Pin Drop, which ended in a 4-4 draw. Both teams showed immense competitiveness and left the pitch with their heads held high.
In the face of Muga V4, AC Me Rollin' displayed their class, taking home a 16-4 victory. The star of the match was undoubtedly Steven Deakin, who netted an impressive 10 goals, making him the top scorer in Division 1 for the week.
The final match was between Nyash Wanderers and OutOnBale. Nyash Wanderers, led by the most valued player of the week, Thanh Vu, clinched a 7-1 victory, showcasing their superior skill and strategy.
