EAST COWES SUNDAY 6 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 16
The East Cowes Sunday Football League saw an enthralling week 16, with the teams from Division 1 delivering some nail-biting performances. The thrill of the chase for the title has been ratcheted up a notch as the season nears its end. With just two weeks remaining, tensions are high and every goal counts.
DIVISION ONE
In one of the most exciting showdowns of the week, Badder Roma clashed with OutOnBale, with Roma emerging victorious, securing a solid 4-2 win. Meanwhile, a tight match between AC Me Rollin' and Nyash Wanderers had us on the edge of our seats, with Wanderers ultimately triumphing 5-3.
A staggering performance by Khedira Pin Drop saw them scoring a whopping 12 goals against Muga V4, who managed just a single goal in response. This match also highlighted the extraordinary performance of Brad Austin, who contributed a total of seven goals to Khedira Pin Drop's victory, earning him the title of top scorer in Division 1 this week and sending Khedira back to the top of the table.
Elsewhere in the division, Twogirlsonefacup narrowly edged out We Lose Every Week 3-2 which saw We Lose drop to second while Inter Yer Nan stormed past Le Saux Solid Crew with a resounding 13-3 victory.
The standout player of the week was undoubtedly Frank Stuber of Twogirlsonefacup, who was named as the most valued player for his exceptional performance.
