East Cowes Sunday 6 a side news - match day 4

In week four of the East Cowes Sunday 6-a-side Football League, Division 1 witnessed a thrilling round of matches, with teams locking horns to claim the top spot.

DIVISION ONE  

Leaders Getafe Me Mason triumphed over Twogirlsonefacup 4-2 in a captivating match. Nathan Martin, who also bagged the title of the most valued player of the week, shone brightly for Getafe Me Mason, steering his team to a crucial victory with a hat-trick.

In one of the tightest games in the division, We Lose Every Week narrowly defeated Badder Roma 3-2, showcasing their will to fight until the end. Meanwhile, Le Saux Solid Crew and Muga V4 provided the division's most entertaining game, with Le Saux Solid Crew emerging victorious in a 10-goal thriller, winning 6-4.

Nyash Wanderers demonstrated their attacking prowess, defeating Inter Yer Nan 5-2 to stay a point behind the leaders. In another end to end game between Khedira Pin Drop and AC Me Rollin' neither team could gain an edge over the other, resulting in a 3-3 draw.

A noteworthy performance came from Lee Brennan of Muga V4, who jointly topped the scoring charts this week in Division 1 with an outstanding hat-trick despite his team defeat. Brennan's form will be crucial for his team as they look to climb the table in the coming weeks.

This week's exhilarating performances set the tone for the tough battles ahead, forecasting an exciting season.
