East Cowes Sunday 6 a side news | WEEK 11

In an action-packed evening of 6 a side football, the East Cowes Sunday league delivered plenty of thrills, spills and a generous serving of goals. Week 11 saw a slew of competitive matches in both the Premier League and Division 1, with standout performances that left spectators enthralled.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, AC Me Rollin' clashed with McNeil Deal in a riveting match that saw the latter emerge victorious with a narrow 6-5 win. The match was particularly notable for the performance of Toby Lock from McNeil Deal who was named the most valued player of the week. Elsewhere, Kelly Smunt were outmatched by Murder On Zidanes Floor, with the score ending at an impressive 11-3 in Murder's favour. WightFibre A Team took a heavy hit against the power-packed Scouting For Goals, succumbing 18-3.


However, the star of the Premier League was John Robjant of Scouting for Goals, who netted an astonishing total of 8 goals, marking him out as the top scorer in the division.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Badder Roma tussled with Khedira Pin Drop, with the latter proving superior with an 11-6 win. Gurnard Blacks had a field day against Albion United, trouncing them 31-2 in a one-sided match. Muga V4 and San Miguel Almiron played out a closely contested match, with San Miguel squeezing out a 5-4 win.


Isaac Harvey was the toast of Division 1 as he netted 5 goals for Khedira Pin Drop, earning him the top scorer's spot.


This week's matches have once again demonstrated the high level of competition in the East Cowes Sunday league. As we look forward to the next week, one thing's for certain - there's much more excitement to come in this league!
