The East Cowes Sunday 6-a-side football league was a spectacle of skills and goals in its second week. The Premier League and Division 1 matches witnessed fierce competition and outstanding performances, with George Nicholls of Lucozade VI being crowned as the Most Valued Player of the week.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, AC Me Rollin' and McNeil Deal put on a show, with McNeil Deal emerging victorious in a high-scoring match, ending with a score of 12-8. Steven Deakin was in sensational form for AC Me Rollin', netting an impressive 6 goals and securing the position as the top scorer in the Premier League this week. The night's other match saw Badder Roma take on Scouting For Goals, who clinched a 9-3 victory over their rivals, demonstrating their intent early in the season.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, the fans were treated to a goal-fest as Khedira Pin Drop dominated Muga V4 with a convincing 7-1 victory. Rhys Brierley was the standout performer for Khedira Pin Drop, scoring a hat-trick and being named the top scorer in Division 1 for the week. Lucozade VI also flexed their goal-scoring prowess, sealing a 10-3 win over Net Six And Chill. The final match of the Division saw a thriller between Real Madri and Palins Preds, ending in a high-scoring draw at 9-9.
The league continues to promise high levels of competition, outstanding individual performances, and enthralling team showdowns. All eyes will now be on the next week's fixtures, as teams look to build on their performances and climb the tables in both the Premier League and Division 1.
