In a thrilling week of football action, the East Cowes Sunday League continued with its fourth week of matches. In the Premier League division, an array of talent was on full display as teams battled it out for supremacy.
The week was marked by some high scoring affairs, with AC Me Rollin' emerging as the winners over Real Madri with a score of 10-6. The standout player from AC Me Rollin' was Aiden Tillbrook, who single-handedly netted five goals, earning him the top scorer spot in the Premier League division for the week.
However, the match of the week was arguably the Badder Roma vs Khedira Pin Drop fixture. Badder Roma registered a resounding 8-0 victory, thanks to a masterful performance from James Spence. Spence’s remarkable skills and leadership on the field earned him the title of the most valued player of the week.
Elsewhere in the league, Zoe's Law dominated Net Six and Chill 14-2, while McNeil Deal handed out a 34-0 thrashing to Barely Athletic. Finally, Scouting For Goals had a convincing 13-3 win over Muga V4.
The league action is heating up as teams vie for the top spot in the Premier League division of the East Cowes Sunday League. If this week's performances are anything to go by, the upcoming weeks of the league promise to be equally, if not more, exciting. The spotlight will certainly be on the likes of Aiden Tillbrook and James Spence, who will look to continue their scintillating form and drive their respective teams to glory.
Thank you to the referees, because without them this Sunday league wouldn't run at all!
