In the fierce world of football, competition was at its peak in the East Cowes Sunday Football League as teams in the Premier League and Division 1 clashed in their eighth week of play.
PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League division, Scouting For Goals registered an overwhelming victory, thrashing Southern Water FC 27 to 2. Brad Austin of Scouting for Goals put up an exceptional performance, scoring a total of 17 goals and securing his spot as the top scorer in the Premier League division.
Aside from this intense match, Murder On Zidanes Floor and Kelly Smunt offered a high scoring game, with the former taking the game 19-7. However, the match between McNeil Deal and AC Me Rollin' was not left behind in terms of thrill, concluding with a scoreline of 9-4 in favor of McNeil Deal.
DIVISION ONE
Shifting to Division 1, the Gurnard Blacks dominated the pitch against Albion United, scoring a massive 25 goals to Albion's meager 2. The match between Humble FC and Arrow FC was a closer contest, ending 9-6 in favor of Humble FC. Charlie Marsek of Humble FC was the standout performer, securing the top scorer title in Division 1 with five goals.
Other matches saw Khedira Pin Drop outshining Badder Roma 9-4 and San Miguel Almiron overpowering Muga V4, 9-2.
The most valued player of the week was Owen Connolly from Khedira Pin Drop, who demonstrated remarkable skill and athleticism on the field. His exceptional performance was instrumental in Khedira Pin Drop's victory, making him a crucial cog in the team's success.
