East Cowes Weekends 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In a thrilling week of football, East Cowes Weekend League brought fans to the edge of their seats. As we moved into the fifth week of the season, both Premier League and Division 1 saw heated matches and showcased phenomenal talent.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, we witnessed McNeil Deal and Win Or Booze battling it out on the field. The fierce competition culminated in a convincing 6-3 victory for McNeil Deal, proving their dominance in the Premier League.

However, the star of the Premier League was undoubtedly Brad Austin from Scouting For Goals. His exceptional talent was on full display as he scored a whopping four goals, making him the top scorer in the Premier League for week 5. Austin's spectacular performance also earned him the well-deserved title of 'Most Valued Player' for the week.

DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, there was no shortage of drama. Lucozade VI overcame Badder Roma with a 3-1 win, while Khedira Pin Drop dominated their game against Muga V4 with an astonishing 12-1 victory. In a nail-biting match, Palin's Preds managed to edge out Bodo Gimps with a narrow 5-4 win.

The spotlight was on Jack Boakes from Khedira Pin Drop in Division 1. Scoring four goals, he added significant fire power to his team's offence, making him the highest scorer in the division for this week.

Week 5 of East Cowes Weekend League clearly demonstrated the high level of competition and talent within both the Premier League and Division 1, showcasing the thrilling world of 6-a-side football. We're excited to see what the next week of games brings us!
