Leaders win again at East Cowes Sunday 6 a side

All teams were in attendance last night at our East Cowes Sunday 6 a side league at Queensgate Primary. We do have available places in the Prem and Div 2 if any teams are looking to join now and get playing.

There was no stopping the Premier League leaders as Joe Butcher scored 13 goals as they ran riot against Eskimo winning 22-4. Luke Phillips with six and Zak Harris grabbing a hat-trick to keep their 100% start to the season going. Eskimo will be hoping to be back to full strength next week when they take on Applepie Turnovers. In other results No Shot stayed second after a 8-2 victory against Mataz, Connor Furmidge top scoring with four. Bacon Sane and Applepie Turnovers played each other in a friendly and both picked up points match wins. As mentioned we are looking for a couple of decent sides to come in a take on the challenge in the Premier League. Get registered for free and start on Sunday.

Hardly Athletic continued their winning start to the campaign as they defeated Lads On Toure 2-0. OFOB Strollers and FC Union Street also have a 100% records in Div 1 as OFOB beat Vectis Rovers 7-1 while FC Union Street won 7-3 against We Lose Every Week. AC Me Rollin picked up their first win of the season as they took the points in their match with Bacuna Matata winning 3-0 with strikes from Steve Deakin 2 and Jack Lax.

Gylifi Pleasures kept their dominate start to the Div 2 season going as they won 10-3 against Sancho's and Cheese. Three players picked up all the goals as Harry Scott and Ryan Phillips hit hat-tricks while Brad Austin went one better with four. Neville Wears Prada won a cagey game with Badder Roma 1-0 to stay second while Khedira Pin Drop won their derby match with Touch Matip 6-1. Goals from captain Owen Connelly 2, Michael Jenkins 2, Thomas Bell and Rhys Brierley. Finally Muga picked up a points match win after their friendly with Mataz.
