Ringwood Monday 6 a side news | WEEK 9

Play in the Ringwood Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Last night saw high drama and plenty of goals in week 9 of the ever-competitive Ringwood Monday 6-a-side Football League, as the Premier League division delivered a thrilling round of fixtures.

The headline clash of the evening featured Banterwall and Ligma, two teams known for their attacking flair. The match lived up to its billing, ending in a pulsating 8-6 victory in favour of Ligma. Both sides showed their intent from the first whistle, with end-to-end action and clinical finishing on display. Ligma’s standout performance came from their talismanic forward, Marco Silva, who found the net four times, becoming the top scorer of the Premier League for the week. Banterwall’s efforts were spearheaded by Josh Turner, who bagged a well-earned hat-trick but ultimately came up short despite his heroics.

With just a few weeks left of the season, the race at the top remains wide open. Ligma’s latest win helps solidify their position in the upper echelons of the Premier League table, while Banterwall will be looking to bounce back in the coming fixtures.

As the competition heats up, all eyes will be on whether Marco Silva can continue his prolific run in front of goal and if Ligma can maintain their momentum in the crucial final weeks. For Banterwall, there’s added motivation to regroup and reignite their challenge with Josh Turner leading the charge.

The Ringwood Monday league continues to deliver excitement, drama, and top-level 6-a-side football, promising more action in the weeks ahead as the season reaches its climax.

Many thanks to the referees for managing another fantastic night of football!
