Monday 20th September - Stafford Round-Up

It was a superb evening's football in the Stafford Monday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance for their scheduled fixtures, including two new teams who got started with us.

Le Saux Solid Crew gave a good account of themselves in their first game in the Premier Division, losing out 4-1 to Is Your Motherwell in a game closer than the scoreline suggests, this will give them encouragement as they get used to the league.

In Division One, new team Puyol Pants Down went down 8-1 in their first fixture, although they were playing against a Girouds Baguette team who've won all three of their opening games this season.
