Geezas open up 3 point lead at the top at Ryde 6 a side!

It was a mixed night at Ryde Thursday 6 a side to start off as Blue Ball couldn't raise a side at late notice, apologies to Chamakh their opponents on the night but thank you to the Blue Ball captain for coming down in person to apologise and clear the match fee for the night. Hopefully you can return to the league in the future once you've recruited some more players.

Onto the matches and Geezas Return opened up a 3 point lead at the top of the table as they came through a tough encounter with Butlins Bandits who threatened a upset at one point when they came back to 3-2 however they couldn't find the equaliser and Geezas pressed home the advantage to win 5-2. This win meant they moved 3 points clear due a upset in the match between second place Salt & Pepe and Roverners as Rovernears produced an excellent display to secure a 6-2 win. In other matches Wight United followed up last weeks win with another as they defeated Getting On A Bit 6-4 while Vectis Rovers raced into a 4-0 lead against Class On Ash before Ash rallied in the second half however not enough to change the outcome with Vectis winning 7-4.

Due to Blue Ball vacating the league we do now have a rare space in the league available. If you are interested in entering your team please register for free at the link below or contact Rich on 07969731086
