Geeza's seal title at Ryde Thursday 6 a side

We are approaching the end of the season at our Ryde Thursday 6 a side league at Ryde Academy with just two games remaining now.

One thing that is now settled is the Premier League title as Geeza's Return sealed the title with an epic 5-4 win against Scouting For Goals that moves them 5 points clear at the top. Netsix & Chill who joined the league late will be looking to challenge Geeza's next season as they moved into the runners up spot with a 6-2 win against Butlins Bandits. Goldies eased their relegation fears with a 6-4 win over East Ryde Massive with goals from Harrison Taylor 3, Jamie Dyer and Liam Lock 2. Sat Fesh FC picked up another Premier League win as they defeated Roverners 7-3, goals from Chessel 2, O'Meara 2, Isaac, Higgin and Warrington. Rob Jackson 2 and Terry Crow with strikes for Roverners who look like they will be heading to Div 1 for next season. 

In Div 1 Ryde Rovers took another big step towards the title as they defeated early season leaders Chamakh My Pitch Up 6-1. Spike Pearce scoring a hat-trick to add to goals from Harrison Ward, Ellis Lomas and Kieran Sanderson for Rovers, they hold a two point lead at the top. Chamakh drop to third but are still in with a good chance of promotion. Vectis Rovers take over in second spot as they defeated Getting On A Bit 10-3. It looks like every player got in on the scoring for Vectis as Gaz Scott-Jackson and Sam Utteridge both hit hat-tricks while Stuart Beattie, Ross Wilkes, Ryan Godley and Chris Joliffe all chipped in with goals. The other league match was a tight affair as Cool Runnings held on for a 3-2 win against Class On Ash with Stanley Harrison, Jack Robertson and Grey Kelly all scoring for Cool Runnings. Going Toulouse were away this week so Ashton Villa III picked up a points match win.
