ISLE OF WIGHT 6 A SIDE - RYDE LEAGUE

It was a wet old night in Ryde last night for week 10 of our season of 6 a side football but our teams and officials battled through and we still saw some great football. The premier league still has 2 spaces so if teams are finishing 11 a side now and want to keep fit through the summer months this is a great opportunity to keep the lads playing. Immediate start available and FREE entry. Just get in touch with Rob on 07538562547 or simply register via this link;

The current top flight teams all had good games last night with Milfclarters and Puyol both taking home 5 - 0 wins from their points match while leaders Sat Fesh extended the gap between themselves and MoLeicesters with a hard fought 7 - 3 win over Roverners. Ryde Rovers continued their impressive return to the league with a 15 - 6 win against MoLeicesters to all but end their title aspirations for this season.

Division One had some amazing matches and a few unexpected results too with both the top two losing. Kirbs Return won 8 on the bounce but have now missed out on points twice in two weeks having gone down to Khedira Pin Drop this week. Meanwhile Goldies missed the chance to take over at the top as they suffered a 5 - 3 defeat to Chamakh meaning there is no change to the top end of the table. The Mighty View had a great 9 - 5 win over Royal Mail-Drid and Grand Theft Porto got their 2nd win in a well fought game against Vectis Rovers.

Well done to both our refs last night. Pete and the returning Nick did an amazing job in horrendous conditions to make sure all our teams still had an enjoyable match night in Ryde.

Don't forget to get in touch if you want to grab one of the spaces in this league, it's free to join and you can start next week.

Good luck to everyone for next Thursday.
