Isle Of Wight 6 a side - Ryde Thursday Round Up

It was match night 7 last night in our brilliant 6 a side league played at Ryde Academy and as always we had an entertaining evening of football. Not all our teams were there sadly, prem leaders Prison had an 11 a side cup semi final to play and Butlins Bandits struggled for numbers but everyone else enjoyed a great game with our officials Josh & Pete both doing a great job in managing their games.

In the premier league there were points wins for Sat Fesh and Moleicesters who both close the gap on the absent leaders while a classy performance from Milfclarters saw them take home the points with a 7 - 1 win over Puyol. Ryde Rovers returned to action and it's great to have them back in the league. They dusted off the cobwebs but faced a competitive Roverners who came away with the win 13 - 6. Both Rob and Matt Jackson bagging 5 goals in the process.

Division One had the usual full line up of games and they were all fiercely competitive games. Goldies had 5 goals from veteran Jamie Dyer to spearhead their 11 - 3 win over Royal Mail-Drid to maintain their promotion push while leaders Kirbs Return won their 7th game in a row to stay top with a maximum 14 points. Chamakh got the better of Khedira in a typically scrappy game and Grand Theft Porto registered their 1st win in a great match against The Mighty View. James, Harry and Noah Brewer all on the score sheet in a brilliant night for the team

So there you go, another excellent round of matches in Ryde if anyone is looking to get their team into this league please get in touch with Rob on 07538562547 for a chat about how things work, otherwise just register via this link and we will be in touch to get things started.
