Ryde Thursday 6 a side END OF SEASON

Play in the Ryde Thursday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Ryde Thursday 6-a-side Football League delivered a sensational finale last night in the week 14 showdown. The season concluded with some spectacular skills, showcasing outstanding performances in both divisions.

In the Premier League, Sat Fesh FC put on a dominant display throughout the season, clinching the title with a formidable total of 24 points from 12 wins. Their remarkable consistency and formidable team play have seen them go unbeaten all season and they now leave the league as champions, in search of a fresh challenge in the Sandown Monday league.

On the other hand, Division 1 saw a thrilling contest leading up to the championship title. Hardly Athletic emerged as season champions, racking up an impressive tally of 26 points from 13 victories. Their fighting spirit and sheer determination were evident in their play, making them the deserved winners of the division.

The night was further highlighted by the exceptional performance of Robert Jackson from Team Roverners. Being named the most valued player of the week, Jackson demonstrated sublime skills and an influential presence on the pitch throughout his matches.

Other notable matches in Division 1 included a nail-biting showdown between Vectis Rovers and Manchester Obe City, ending 6-5 in favour of Manchester Obe City. Roverners displayed an exceptional performance, routing a disorganised Khedira Pin Drop III with an 8-2 victory.

In another high scoring match we saw The Mighty View take on Champions Hardly Athletic, it ended 7-3 in favour of Hardly Athletic with season Top Scorer Kyle Follows cementing his position as the league MVP with another great night in front of goal. In a remarkable campaign the Hardly man has bagged in excess of 60 goals and has played a key role in the success of his team. Great to see a talented player letting his feet do the talking.

Sat Fesh striker Val Isac picks up the golden boot for the premier league for his 18 goals.
