Ryde Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 5

In the fifth week of Ryde Thursday's 6-a-side football league, the divisions named Premier League and Division 1 showcased some thrilling matches.


PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Margys Betas suffered a defeat by Crown FC, with the game concluding at 7-4. Crown FC's unwavering dominance on the field was evident throughout the match, leaving Margys Betas struggling to keep up. Meanwhile, the encounter between Ivory Toast and Roverners saw the former securing a decisive victory with a score of 6-2. Roverners put up a valiant display, but Ivory Toast's offensive prowess was simply too much to handle.


Matt Jackson from Roverners was the shining star in the Premier League, scoring a total of 1 goal. Despite their team's defeat, Jackson's performance was a silver lining that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.


DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, Khedira Pin Drop III demolished 99 Problems But A Pitch Ain't One, with an impressive score of 8-2. Following their performance, Vectis Rovers edged out Double Pogba And Koke with a tight score of 2-1. Diabetico Madrid clinched a thrilling victory over Youth Offending Team with a final score of 8-6.


Daniel Murphy from Khedira Pin Drop III emerged as the star performer in Division 1, scoring a total of 5 goals, showcasing a masterclass in striking.


In the midst of these exhilarating matches, the week's most valued player was Sam Cant from Ivory Toast. Despite the competitive atmosphere, Cant’s outstanding performance and contribution played a key role in their team's victory, setting a benchmark for the rest to follow.
