In a thrilling week 7 of the Ryde Thursday 6-a-side Football League, a host of teams battled it out across two divisions, producing some truly exciting football. The Premier League and Division 1 matches certainly did not disappoint, with players showcasing exceptional talent and skill on the field.
PREMIER LEAGUE
The Premier League saw some high-scoring affairs with Crown FC dispatching Ivory Toast 6-1, much credited to the exceptional hat-trick from the league's top scorer, Brad Austin. His performance was a masterclass of precision and timing. Meanwhile, Margys Betas were narrowly edged out in a hard-fought 4-3 loss to Doter Returns, adding more drama to the mix.
DIVISION ONE
Transitioning to Division 1, the teams brought an equal amount of intensity. Double Pogba And Koke dominated 99 Problems But A Pitch Aint One in a resounding 7-1 victory, proving their dominance on the field. Khedira Pin Drop III secured a 5-1 win over Diabetico Madrid, with top scorer Daniel Murphy netting three goals. The tightest contest of the night saw Vectis Rovers edge out Youth Offending Team 5-4 in a nail-biter.
Amongst all the stirring performances, Ethan Brierley from Khedira Pin Drop III stood out, earning himself the title of the week's Most Valued Player. Brierley's performance was a testament to his excellent form and contribution to his team's success.
