Ryde Thursday 6 a side - WEEK 3 ROUND UP

In the thrilling week 3 of Ryde Thursday's 6 a side Football league, we bore witness to a series of exciting matches in the Premier League division that everyone craving for more.

Leading the goal fest this week was the Roverners, who came out strong and dominated their match against Chamakh My Pitch Up, ending with an impressive 13 - 6 win, Josh Woodnutt and Matt Jackson both netting tidy hat tricks for Roverners while Adam Jupe fired back with 4 for his Chamakh team. As for Puyol Pants Down, they weren't far behind in the goal scoring stats. They displayed exceptional strategy and teamwork against Vectis Rovers for a well-deserved 10 - 4 victory.

There were less goals but no lack of action in the competitive battle between Khedira Pin Drop and Cereal Wimmers. An exceptional performance from Khedira goal keeper Harry Mitchell kept his team in the match, denying the Wimmers efforts time after time. In the absence of inspirational captain Owen Connolly it was left to Luke Warde to rescue a point for Khedira with two well taken goals while Jack Dyer continued his strong start to the season with both of the Wimmers goals. 2-2 the final score leaving Wimmers in 2nd place and Khedira 7th.

The goals flowed again in the final match up between Youth Offending Team and Hardly Athletic. The defending champions emerged victorious 12 - 3 thanks to 5 goals from George Johnson and 3 from Kyle Follows. Elliot Apter bagged 3 for Youth Offending Team who again showed great spirit against a strong Hardly side.

So a brilliant night of football in Ryde concludes and among the sea of exceptional talent, one player stood out to the officials, earning the title of Most Valued Player for the week. Luke Warde from Khedira Pin Drop shone brightly among his peers with his unmatched skills and undeniable talent on the field.
