SAT FESH 5pts CLEAR WHILE BUTLINS ARE PEGGED BACK

Sat Fesh put themselves far enough ahead in the title race now to be confirmed as prem champions again with 2 weeks to go in the Thursday league at Ryde Academy. In a dominant display against an understrength Puyol side they won 10 - 4 to increase their lead at the top to 5 points. Pat O'Meara and Brad Austin both netted hat-tricks in an excellent display against their closest challengers.

Guns n Moses remain 3rd following a good 9 - 5 win over Unathletico while Ryde Galacticos took a 5 - 0 points win from their game with Kirbs Return who couldn't raise a side, big thanks to The Mighty View for stepping in and getting another taste of the Thursday night action. Mighty View are one of 3 teams waiting to get into the Ryde league, if only we could get some more pitch space we would grow the league, for now though we just have to make sure all teams are fully committed for the new season in three weeks time. Roverners strong season continued this week as they registered a 5 - 3 win over Goldies, Paul Clayton the main man with 3 for his team.

Div One was as entertaining as ever with plenty of goals and a couple of really close games. Vectis Rovers beat Chamakh 11 - 4 as Ryan Godley, Tony Pearce and Sam Utteridge all scored good hat-tricks while Grand Theft Porto took a good point from their game with Royal Mail-Drid, 4 - 4 the score in this one, Harry Brewer netting 3 of the GTP goals.

Milfclarters moved briefly into the promotion places having run riot against Hant's FC. Isaac Glynn in fine goal scoring form to net 6, backed up by Flynn Jackman with 3 in the 14 - 2 win. The following game did them no favours though as leaders Butlins Bandits were beaten by Khedira Pin Drop 5 - 3 to keep the title race alive and kicking. Butlins lead by 2 points with 2 games to go, next week the top two face off again, can Khedera pull level with another win and leave it to a last night of the season shoot out or with Butlins bounce back and seal the title next week. It's going to be an exciting night as always at Ryde Academy.

Thanks to our refs Nick and Pete, Nick will be serving an 8 week ban for mentioning Love Island during a game so next Thursday will be his last for a while, we have Josh coming in to replace him for the last week of this season and the start of next season.

Looking forward to next Thursday night already.
