JJ FC CHAMPIONS OF SANDOWN

We wrapped up another succesful season of 6 a side in Sandown on Monday Night where JJFC were crowned as champions, 5 points ahead of nearest rivals The Six Offenders in 2nd. Jehov came 3rd, just ahead of Retro's by one goal in 4th place. Two Girls One FA Cup join Hold This Woodwork in taking the plunge to Division One.

Their places in the top flight will be taken by Division One champions Hardly Athletic and Wet Dogs. Hardly taking claiming the lead title by 2 points while there was quite a jump to Eye Of The Tiger in 3rd. Make Emile Of It finish bottom and seem to have disappeared without any communication so will be removed before the new season.

This means we have a fairly rare space to fill in Sandown for a new team looking to get involved ahead of the new campaign. Anyone interested should get in touch pretty quickly as i'd be surprised if the space is there for long.

Billy Chugg gets himself another golden boot for his 36 goals for Retros this season while George Johnson takes the Division One honours. Well done to both sharp shooters on an excellent season in front of goal. It's double success for George as he is also awarded the seasons MVP award.

So well done to all our teams and a huge thanks to our officials who do a great job on Monday nights, it's always exciting to launch a new season and hopefully it will be another good one for you guys.
