MONDAY NIGHT 6 A SIDE - SANDOWN

So good to have a full league again in Sandown as we head into the final weeks of the season. We welcomed Guns n Moses into the only space in the prem and despite starting with a defeat to Six Offenders they are certainly not out of their depth in the top flight. The top 3 all won as JJFC and Six Offenders continue to be separated by 2 points. JJ got the better of No More Cap in a cracking game that ended 9 - 6 to the reigning champions, Jordan Cook in the goals with 4 this week. Ben Orton got 3 for Six Offenders in their 5 - 3 win against Guns N Moses while Jehov had a comfortable night against Eye of the Tiger who will be looking forward to a return to Division One next season.

Two sides look well set for promotion to the prem next season. Despite a surprise defeat this week, Norfolk In Chance will have eyes on their new season in the top flight and will look to go up as champions. Hayleys Comet turned them over last night thanks to a hat-trick from Jack Winterbottom but they stay top with a 2 point lead over Two Girls who put in a dominant performance to defeat Sandown Cliffs 17 - 2. The game of the night was between J Bashers and Gianfranco Elis. The end to end match went right to the final whistle with both sides having to settle for a point after an epic battle that ended 5 - 5!

Thanks as always to Jukesy, Andy and Chris for reffing the games and to all the team captains for getting their sides together.

Good luck to everyone for week 8 next Monday.
